Governor Hochul Celebrates TTM Technologies Beam Signing in Dewitt, NY

In a significant move for New York’s manufacturing sector, Governor Kathy Hochul joined officials from TTM Technologies for a beam signing ceremony at the site of a new high-tech manufacturing facility in Central New York. The facility, situated on 23 acres adjacent to TTM’s existing plant in Dewitt, represents a $130 million investment that is expected to create 400 additional jobs, bringing the company’s local workforce to 1,000.

TTM, a global leader in technology solutions, will produce Ultra-High Density Interconnect (UHDI) Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) at the new facility, marking a major milestone as one of the first in the nation to specialize in this area.

Reflecting on the growth of manufacturing in the region, Hochul noted, “Two years ago today, we kicked off manufacturing month by announcing that Micron had selected Syracuse as its new home, investing $100 billion and generating 50,000 new jobs. That week marked a historic transformation of manufacturing across New York — a lightning strike we hadn’t seen in 50 years.”
Governor Hochul expressed gratitude towards TTM Technologies for choosing New York, highlighting the state’s exceptional workforce. “When we talk about attracting companies like TTM, I emphasize that no one can provide you with a workforce as talented and dedicated as ours,” she said.
