NYC Mayor Eric Adams Issues Emergency Executive Order 410 to Address Influx of Asylum Seekers

On May 20, 2023, the Mayor of New York City issued Emergency Executive Order 4101. The order was issued in response to the arrival of thousands of asylum seekers in New York City over the past several months. The order states that the City of New York will take immediate action to provide shelter, food, and medical care to these individuals. The order also directs city agencies to work together to ensure that these individuals are able to access legal services and other resources.
