On the State Level: NYS Dept. of Health, Increasing Training Capacity in
Statewide Health Care Facilities Funding
This program seeks to fund facility training programs in New York State that provide an innovative response to
meet the state’s healthcare workforce demands. Not-for-profit facilities can apply and utilize these funds to increase
their capacity to train current and future healthcare workers. The goal of the program is to increase the healthcare
workforce by assisting facilities in training more healthcare workers.

NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services, Alternative to Incarceration
(ATI)/Re-Entry Services and Interventions Funding
This funding aims to reduce recidivism, reduce reliance on incarceration and improve the outcomes of individuals involved in or who have had previous involvement in the justice system.
This funding will help support unique and evidence-based approaches to work with individuals who are involved in, have previous involvement in, or are at risk of involvement in, the criminal justice system. These programs should target one or more of the following: the risk of incarceration, risk of recidivism, criminogenic needs, responsivity factors and/or stabilization needs.

NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation (DEC),
Municipal Waste & Recycling Program
These state assistance programs help fund waste reduction, recycling and household hazardous waste (HHW) programs. Funding is provided on a 50% reimbursement rate for eligible costs.

NYS Office for People with Disabilities, Regional
Disability Health Clinics Program (RDHCP)
These grants will help improve health care for people with developmental disabilities by increasing access to care
and better coordinating and integrating services. RDHCP will provide grants in support of capital projects to expand
access to quality health care for people with developmental disabilities by reducing accessibility barriers and
increasing access to healthcare services, including medical, dental and other physical health services.

On the Federal Level
U.S. National Science Foundation, Integrated Data Systems & Services (IDSS) Funding
The IDSS program supports operations-level national-scale cyberinfrastructure systems and services that broadly advance and facilitate open, data-intensive and artificial intelligence-driven science and engineering research, innovation and education. The IDSS program is accepting proposals for three categories of projects: Category I. development, deployment and operation of novel national-scale integrated data systems and services, which may include interfacing with or leveraging other existing capabilities, systems and services, as appropriate to the project
Category II. transition of established smaller scale, regional, pilot, or prototype data-focused systems and services to national-scale production/operational quality/level. This may also include enhancement and expansion of existing national-scale data-focused operational systems and services
Category III. planning grants for future potential development/deployment or transition/enhancement IDSS projects
■ Deadline: December 4, 2025
■ Eligible Applicants: Non-profit, non-academic organizations: independent museums, observatories, research laboratories, professional societies and similar organizations located in the U.S. that are directly associated with educational or research activities; other federal agencies and federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs): Prospective proposers from other federal agencies and FFRDCs, including NSF sponsored FFRDCs, must follow the guidance in PAPPG Chapter I.E.2 regarding limitations on eligibility; institutions of higher education
(IHEs): two- and four-year IHEs (including community colleges) accredited in, and having a campus located in the
US, acting on behalf of their faculty members, special instructions for international branch campuses of US IHEs:
if the proposal includes funding to be provided to an international branch campus of a US institution of higher
education (including through use of sub-awards and consultant arrangements), the proposer must explain the
benefit(s) to the project of performance at the international branch campus and justify why the project activities
cannot be performed at the US campus

U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Farm to School Grants
These grants will improve access to local foods in eligible Child Nutrition Program (CNP) sites through comprehensive
farm to CNP programming that includes local sourcing and agricultural education efforts.

■ Eligible Applicants: City or township governments; county governments; nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status
with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; independent school districts; state governments; Native
American tribal governments (federally recognized)

On the Private Level
Joseph S. Groh Foundation, Grants for Those Connected with the Construction Trades Who are Living with Life Altering Injuries Assistance provided is designed to pay for the provision of material (i.e. durable medical equipment, etc.) or for services rendered. (i.e. construction of ramps to the home, widening of doorways, reconstruction of bathrooms for wheelchair access, etc.) It is the policy of the foundation not to provide cash as a means of assistance. Provision of assistance will be by vote of the Board of Directors and will be made on the basis of need and ability of the foundation
to provide.

Borealis Philanthropy Fund for Trans Generations (FTG), Rapid Response Grants
These grants invest in trans-led organizing to support a future where transgender, gender non-conforming and nonbinary people live with freedom, safety and self-determination. FTG plays an important role in providing significant resources to emerging trans-led groups that have had limited access to national funding streams. FTG prioritizes funding for organizations addressing health and healing, education, anti-violence, employment, housing, criminalization, leadership development, grassroots organizing, movement building, mutual aid and direct services and arts and culture. FTG has a rapid response fund available year-round, which provides support for situations that
require immediate response and for proactive activities that pursue strategic opportunities.

■ Eligible Applicants Must: be trans-led and organizations must be tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or fiscally sponsored. Projects must be based in the United States and U.S. territories

FRAXA Research Foundation, Fragile X Clinical
Trials and Curative Therapies Grants

Ron Brown Scholars Program (RBSP), College Scholarships
RBSP competitively awards 20 four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.

The Hagan Scholarships, Need-Based Merit College Scholarships
These nationwide need-based merit scholarships provide recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, free Schwab brokerage accounts and free study abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum.
Deadline: December 1, 2025
■ Eligible Applicants Must:
♦ attend a high school located in the U.S.
♦ be fluent in English
♦ have achieved an unweighted 3.50 CGPA based on a 4.0 grading scale
♦ enroll in an eligible four-year college or university the first fall semester following high school graduation
♦ maintain a four year or less graduation schedule, or complete the equivalent of a four year degree if in a professional program
♦ work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 until September 1, 2026. Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation. Employment can be full-time or part-time
♦ have an Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2024 Federal Income Tax Purposes that does not exceeded $100,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all adult members of a household living under the same roof
♦ provide the FAFSA Summary showing the SAI if chosen as a finalist
♦ apply for Federal and State grants if eligible

Burger King Scholars Program, Scholarships for College or Post-Secondary Vocational/Technical School
These scholarships are intended to offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected through an application process that takes into consideration their grade point average (GPA),
work experience, extracurricular activities, community service and financial need.

This funding is for young Hispanic students who share Dr. Andrade’s lifelong commitment to servant leadership.

♦ be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time undergraduate students in an accredited four-year or twoyear institution in the U.S. or U.S. territories
