Nine places or program contacts for finding work, improving your résumé, learning English, preparing for high school equivalency or exploring career training. This selected guide includes four Workforce1 centers, nonprofit and library support, college programs and citywide adult-education enrollment.
Choose your next step: For job-search support, start with Workforce1, BronxWorks or NYPL. For English, GED/HSE preparation or a new qualification, ask the education provider about placement, prerequisites and cost. Enrollment, training and job placement depend on eligibility and availability; a referral is not a job offer.
