Queens Disability Resources: Accessible Transport, Independent Living and Support

Queens community resources · Sources reviewed October 26, 2026

Nine service routes for independent living, accessible transportation, employment, developmental disability support, family guidance and library access. Some contacts are Queens-specific; others serve the whole city or state and are labeled accordingly.

Use local intake for service navigation, the transport provider for rides, and the relevant agency for its eligibility process. Tell the provider what communication, language or access support you need when arranging your visit.
