Since 1983, merpeople have traveled to Coney Island from far and wide to show off their dazzling costumes and put on enchanting performances.
Each year, the parade attracts thousands of people, so plan to get there early for the best viewing spots.
The procession starts at 1 PM & moves east along Surf Avenue from West 21st Street, turns South on West 10th Street, and heads west again on the boardwalk, coming to a close in front of Steeplechase Plaza.
