Queens resource guide · Sources reviewed October 26, 2026
Nine resources for job search, career preparation and adult learning: five Workforce1 locations, library career help, nonprofit employment support and two education pathways. Confirm current intake, appointments, eligibility and any course costs before traveling or enrolling.
Workforce1: free career services
Workforce1 offers job-search support, interview preparation and routes to training. The city lists eligibility as age 18 or older with authorization to work in the United States. Training programs may have additional requirements. For information: call 311 or use the city’s enrollment route. This is a shared information route, not a direct phone line for each office.
