On August 22, 2025, Mayor Eric Adams officially designated the New York City Department of Finance as the administering agency responsible for acting on behalf of the Mayor in relation to Articles 2-H, 2-J, and 2-K of the General City Law, and Chapters 6-B, 6-C, and 6-E of Title 22 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York. This designation ensures the Department of Finance has the authority to oversee the Race for Space, REAP, and LM-REAP programs, as outlined in the referenced legal provisions, and will be published in accordance with Section 11-a of the New York City Charter.
Designation of the Department of Finance as Administering Agency
I hereby designate the New York City Department of Finance as the designated agency to act on behalf of the Mayor pursuant to and for the purposes of Articles 2-H, 2-J and 2-K of the General City Law and Chapters 6-B, 6-C and 6-E of Title 22 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York.
This designation shall be published pursuant to Section 11-a of the New York City Charter.
