The skit, which aired on Inside City Hall, featured Sliwa and Mayor Mamdani engaging in a humorous conversation, sparking controversy among some GOP members who felt it was unbecoming of a mayoral candidate.
Sliwa has since addressed the criticism, stating that the skit was meant to showcase his lighter side and humanize him in the eyes of voters.
