How to read results
- Unofficial returns: preliminary counts published by election officials; read their update time and coverage notes.
- Projected winner: a media call is separate from official certification.
- Certified results: the election authority’s approved final totals, subject to any stated corrections or legal process.
Do not treat an empty result page as zero votes or a race call. BigNY does not display live vote totals on this page; use the linked official publishers for their latest reports.
